How to actually study with AI

The students who get results do not ask for answers. They ask for the reasoning, then close the tab and try to reproduce it. That is active recall, and it is what turns reading into learning.

1. Ask for the method
2. Close it and recall
3. Check against your notes
4. Test yourself with flashcards
5. Space the sessions
6. Sleep on it overnight

Questions students ask us

Are these AI study tools really free?

Yes. Every tool works with a free daily allowance of 15 AI requests, and the grade calculator, GPA calculator, citation generator, flashcard maker, schedule and timer are unlimited. No credit card is needed to start, and nothing is charged unless you choose Pro.

What is the best free AI tool for studying?

It depends on the task, which is why we built separate tools instead of one chatbot. Use the AI tutor to understand a concept, the exam solver for a specific question you are stuck on, and AI Notes to turn a chapter into a summary, flashcards and a quiz.

Can I use AI to help me do my homework?

Use it to understand the method, not to replace your work. StudyTools always shows the reasoning behind an answer so you can check it against your course material. Your school decides what AI use is allowed, and it is your responsibility to follow their policy.

How do I use AI to study better?

Ask for the reasoning, not the answer. Then close the tab and try to reproduce it from memory, which is active recall. Space your sessions across days rather than cramming, because consolidation happens when you sleep, not when you sit up late. Our study guides go into this in detail.

Do I need an account to use the tools?

No, you can use them straight away. An account is only needed to save your work, keep your history between sessions and unlock the higher daily AI limit in Pro.

What happens if I hit the daily limit?

Your allowance resets the next day, and Pro raises it to 2000 requests a day. You can also use the offline tools, such as the calculators, flashcards, citations and focus timer, as often as you like on the free plan.

Can I cancel Pro?

Any time, from your PayPal account, without emailing anyone. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. Details are in the terms.
